Dillon Roewer

Dillon James Roewer, 22, of Crystal Lake passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was born on October 5, 1994 in Woodstock, IL to Russell and Anita (nee Rapp) Roewer.

Dillon worked hard and played hard. He loved to fish on Crystal Lake and in the Hollows. A favorite pastime was hanging out and walking with friends and family in Veteran’s Acres, 3 Oaks and Lippold Park. Dillon wanted everyone to be happy and went to great lengths to make you laugh and smile.

Dillon will be deeply missed by his parents; his sister, Samantha; his grandmothers, Astrid Rapp and Rose “Peggy” Contos; his grandfather Ronald Roewer; aunts and uncles, Melinda (Rapp) & Brian Wolfe, Sue Pecoraro, James Rapp, and Ron Roewer; so many cousins; and the love of his life, girlfriend Lawren Hansen and her family. He will be greeted in Heaven by Grandpa James Rapp; Grandma Arlene Roewer; and Jack, Steven, Tim and more.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7 from 10am until 11am, followed by fellowship and lunch until 1pm at First Congregational Church, 461 Pierson St., Crystal Lake, IL. Interment will be private.
