Dodge Ferreira

Barrington, Illinois,The Memorial Visitation for G. Dodge Ferreira, 69, of Barrington Hills will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 1 to 3 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W Main St., Barrington. Immediately following the visitation there will be a Celebration of Life at his home. Born November 13, 1940 in New York, he passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010. Mr. Ferreira worked at E.L. Industries International for 34 years and was the current president of the company. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1968. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his sisters, Susan Ferreira Rogers of Barrington, and Donna Ferreira McNutt of Elgin; brothers, Fred MacDonald Ferreira of Carefree, AZ., Robert A. Ferreira of Tucson, AZ., and Donald Murray Ferreira of Pompano Beach, FL; nieces, Kristin Ferreira Davis of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Sedona Jade Ferreira of Phoenix, AZ. and nephew, Steven Dodge Ferreira of Medford, OR. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Ferreira?s name may be made to the George C. Dodge Foundation, 110 W. County Line Rd, Barrington Hills, 60010.
