Dolores E. Fox

Dolores E. Fox (nee Hall), 86 of Harrison Township, Michigan was born on October 29, 1931 to the late Russell and the late Velma Hall and passed away on April 9, 2018 in Barrington, Illinois. She was a dear friend to many, and lived her life with grace, dignity, and elegance. Dolores was the loving wife of the late Harry Eugene Fox; mother of Joanne (the late Charlie) Rupers, Jim (Karey) Fox, the late Terri Fox, Marianne (Dale Farley) Fox, Michael (Louise) Fox and David (Rosanna) Fox; grandmother of 14, great-grandmother of 3, and great-great-grandmother of 3. It is a telling trait to know that each of these offspring consider themselves her favorite. Dolores worked as an important associate in her husband’s businesses for decades, and for several years she owned and operated La Petite Fleur Shoppe in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. After retirement, she traveled the world, often with her husband, family, or friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Velma Hall, and a dear sister, Shirley Lapere. She is survived by her brothers, Russell and Gerald Hall; and a sister, Margie Birmingham. Services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Louis Catholic Community, 24415 Crocker Blvd, Clinton Township, Michigan 48036. Inurnment will be held privately at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Fischer Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
