Dolores L. (DeLatte) Johnson

Dolores “De” L. Johnson, 92, of Crystal Lake was born on January 4, 1929 to Adolph and Josephine DeLatte.  She passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021.

De was the loving mom of James A. (Stephanie) Johnson, Paul A. Johnson, Alan J. Johannssen; Ann F. Johnson, Mark N. Johnson and June M. Johnson; awesomest grandma of Devyn G. Johnson and Anten C. Johnson; and dear aunt of many.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Johnson and her brother, Warren DeLatte.

De will be remembered for her love of dogs (especially her German Shepherd, Lady), harlequin romance novels and TV Guide crossword puzzles.  She had a big heart and always put her family first.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 11th, from 11am until prayers at 1:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake.  Mass will follow at 1:30pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.  Interment will be at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
