Dolores Mohapp, 86, passed away June 27, 2018. She was born in Chicago to the late Walter J. and Mary Ellen (Fadden) Ruffner on January 19, 1932.
Dolores’ family will be receiving friends on Saturday, June 30, from 5 pm until 8 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake. Funeral service will be at 2:30 pm Sunday, July 1st with a visitation to begin at 1:30 pm at Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church, 43 W. Grass Lake Rd., Lake Villa, IL. Burial will be at Holy Name Cemetery, Wilmot, WI.
Survivors include her children, L. Kevin Mohapp, Patricia A. (M. William) Rummer, Mark J. Mohapp, Thomas J. Mohapp, David L. (Jane) Mohapp, and John J. (Jackie) Mohapp; grandchildren, Jamie E. Mohapp, Nikki (Colin) Fitzgerald, Emily J. Mohapp, Kelsey J. Mohapp, and Matthew J. Mohapp; brothers, Kenneth J. Ruffner and R. Michael (Jan) Ruffner; and beloved nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Ellen Wilms, Dorothy W. Peterson, and Walter Ruffner; and niece, Kenni Joy Alton and nephew, Tim Ruffner.
Dolores was a member of Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church and served on the Tape Ministry, Prison Ministry and she also served as a deaconess. She was creative and absolutely loved people. She also found great joy in swimming, exercising and studying her Bible.
