Dolores (Hoppe) Olsen

Dolores N. Olsen (nee Hoppe), age 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2019.

Dolores was born on June 30, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois. She was an avid card player who also loved bingo and shopping. Dolores enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Dolores is survived by her loving children, Barbara (the late Bob) Hartwig and David Olsen; grandchildren, Kevin (Vickie) Hartwig and Jennifer Van Blake; great-granddaughters, Hannah and Madelynn Van Blake, and Samantha Pesek; and great-great-granddaughter, Isabella Riles.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Walter Olsen; son, Geaorge Allen Olsen; parents, Joseph and Ann Hoppe; and siblings, Joseph Hoppe and Lillian Leitza.

A graveside service will be held for Dolores on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00AM at Crystal Lake Memorial Park, 8012 Ridgefield Road, Crystal Lake, IL.
