Donald James Wagman, age 52 passed away suddenly on February 6, 2017 in Spokane, Washington. He was born May 17, 1964 in Elgin to James M. and Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Wagman.

Donald was a graduate of Crystal Lake South, Crystal Lake, Illinois. He was a member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. He enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, hunting, listening to music and playing the drums. He was an all-around handy-man. Don was a family man that enjoyed traveling with his wife and children. Many road trips were experienced by his family.

He was an enlisted and served in 25 years in the Military Army, Sergeant 1st Class, he worked as a recruiter. His overseas assignment was in Germany serving with the military police, where he made life-long friends and was proud to serve his country.

Donald married the love of his life, Donna (Losey) Wagman in Woodstock, Illinois on June 21, 1997. Together they raised 5 children, and relocated numerous times throughout their marriage.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his children Cameron and James Wagman, Alexis Wagman, Renee Hardy and Kelsey Wagman; granddaughter, Nova; mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Wagman; brothers, Ken (Tracy) Wagman, David Wagman, Bryan (Wendy) Wagman, Robert (Sarah Lee) Wagman; sisters, Theresa (Herbert) Hanson (nee Wagman), Elise (Mark) Wood (nee Wagman), Bonnie (Edward) McAllen, Linda Gregerson, Carol Wagman; brother-in-law, Mark Massman ; and many aunts and uncles in northern Wisconsin & Minnesota, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Morris Wagman; nephew Robert Massman, brothers-in-law, Gary Weber and Tom Gregerson.

Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a funeral service at 7:30 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 East Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, Illinois
