Donald Edward Wiencek

Donald Edward Wiencek, of Huntley, passed away peacefully at his home on January 15, 2023 at the age of 86.

He was born September 12, 1936 in Chicago, the son of the late Michael and Anna (nee Litviak) Wiencek.

Donald is survived by his sons, David Wiencek of Chicago and Donald (Danna) Wiencek of Schaumburg; his grandchildren, Darra, Donny and Drew; and his great-grandchildren, Weston and Evelyn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Diane; and brothers, Ron and Fred.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 20, from 3-8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue the following day, Saturday, January 21, from 8:30 a.m. until prayers at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
