Donna Lindberg

Donna Lindberg passed Thursday, May 15, 2014, at the age of 79. Born January 31, 1935 in Chicago, Donna was the second of two daughters of Clarence and Myra (DeLaby) Johnson. She graduated high school in Barrington and later worked in Chicago’s Loop.

In 1955 she married Rollin Lindberg in Barrington. Together they raised two children – a son and daughter. Donna was a loving mother and devoted wife. She enjoyed her needlepoint, piano, theatre, opera and symphonies, travel, bridge and the companionship of her many friends.

Donna is survived by her children, Kriste and John; her grandchildren; Jordan and Traci; and her sister, Joan Graf.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Rollin (“Bunny”, “Lindy”), and her parents Clarence and Myra Johnson.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 18th, from 1 pm until the time of memorial service at 2pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street, Barrington, IL 60010.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Donna’s name may be made to: Fur Keeps Animal Rescue, 142 Old Dundee Road, Barrington Hills, IL 60010 or a local non-profit of your choice.
