Davenport Barrington

Donna Daisy May Schnoor died at the beautiful age of 93 years old, on Thursday, May 20, 2021. She was born on April 3, 1928 to Raymond and Meta Schnoor, who resided in Barrington, IL.

Donna was a student who graduated with honors from Barrington High School.  With her passion and talent for art, she attended and graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago, where she later became an art teacher. With her high achievements, she later went to work for American Greeting cards in Chicago, where she designed the famous Marshall Fields Clock Tower Logo.   The company moved to New York but Donna wanted to stay local.  She started work at Uarco Business Forms located in Barrington.  She worked there for over 35 years as a top designer artist in the art department.   Donna retired at the age of 67.

She was not only artistically talented but an intellectual.  She was loving and kind and has helped many nonprofit organizations. Not only was she a supporter and lover of people but animals as well, especially cats.  There are no surviving family members.

She will be dearly missed by her friends Patricia and Kim Bye, her adopted family Boga, Aga and Magda, and her loving cat Sweetie.
