Donna Witt

We will be celebrating the life of Donna Lee Witt, 64, of Barrington, on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 4-9pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington. Donna was born in Chicago on July 16, 1950. She passed away peacefully, January 3rd, surrounded by her loving family.

She had no idea the profound impact she had on so many throughout her life, especially during her 14-month courageous battle. Even though we were taking care of her, she was taking care of us through her humor, always making us laugh. Little did she know she was getting us through each and everyday with her strength and grace. Donna’s heart shined through her smile, and a smile was always on her face.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 39 ½ years, Robert; children, Robert (Elizabeth) Witt, Jr., Kathryn (Tyler) Wesley, and Zachary Witt; grandson, Jackson Witt; mother, Mary Ann Lesner (nee Neville); siblings, Pamela Van Boven (the late Leonard Nicpon & the late Wayne Van Boven) of Arlington Heights, Marta Kadlec of Cary, and Marvin (Paulette) Johnson of Mundelein; loving nieces, nephews, friends, and her four-legged babies, Cooper, Harper, and Vera.
