Doreen A. Warfel

Doreen Ann Warfel, of Crystal Lake, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 19, 2024, at the age of 67.

Doreen was a gardener in every aspect of her life. She grew her career as a nurse, grew her family with the addition of two sons, grew her quilt business in Minnesota, and grew her faith through volunteer work. Once established, she tended her garden by worshiping God, and always being there for anything and everything her family could possibly need; always putting her husband, sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren before herself. She will be missed by everyone, as her life has been cut far too short.

Doreen is survived by her loving husband, Gregg; her beloved sons, Matthew (Amy) and Jason (Jennifer); and her cherished grandchildren, Eli, Madilynn, Henry, and Grace.

Services for Doreen will be held privately for her family.
