Born May 3, 1934 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Basil Hryckiewicz and Mary (nee Hrytz), Dorothy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the age of 82.
Dorothy will be dearly missed by her sons, Alan Bokowski, John (Kim) Bokowski, and Mark (fiancée Elizabeth) Bokowski; her cherished grandchildren, Kristin (Raymond) Novak and Brandon Bokowski; her great-grandson, Luke Novak; and her brothers, Emil (Jean) Hryckiewicz, Daniel Hryckiewicz and her twin, Boris (Barbara) Hryckiewicz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Louis Bokowski.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, February 21, beginning at 4pm until the time of the funeral service at 7pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rte. 176) Crystal Lake. Interment will be private.
