Dorothy Cooker

Dorothy Ann Cooker (nee Voras), 71 of Cary, was born October 23, 1940 in Palatine, IL to Clarence and Alice (nee Holtzee) Voras and passed away August 23, 2012 at her home in Cary surrounded by her loving family.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Cooker, loving mother of Geoffrey (Kathleen) Cooker, and Laurinda (James Burke) Cooker, dear grandmother of Emily Cooker, John Burke, and Matthew Burke, cherished sister of Betty (Roger) Paldauf, Elaine (Rich) Bickham, and Fred (Nancy) Voras.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Glen Voras.

Memorial Service will be held at 1pm Sunday, September 2 at the First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake, 461 Pierson St, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Rev. Dr.Arn Schaper will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake, in Dorothy's name.
