Dorothy Fararo

Dorothy Jane Fararo, 86, of Huntley, was born on May 19, 1929 in Grand Rapids, MI to James and Winona (nee Witter) Huizenga. She passed away peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2016 in Elgin.
Dorothy was a school teacher for 18 years. She loved the Chicago Cubs, her grandchildren, and spending time on the beaches of Lake Michigan.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Gene) Gustin; and her grandchildren, Alex, Sam and Ryan.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 2pm until time of memorial service at 4pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 419 Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Vitas Hospice, 12179 Regency Pkwy, Huntley, IL 60142.
