Dorothy Glow

Dorothy M. Glow Of Lake Barrington since 2005. A memorial service for Dorothy M. Glow (nee Kaminski), 91, formerly of Evanston, will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, September 27, in the Community Room at Lake Barrington Woods, 22320 Classic Ct., Lake Barrington. Interment will be private. Dorothy was born July 9, 1918, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Frank and Stella Kaminski and passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009, at ManorCare Health Service in Rolling Meadows. Dorothy was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Toledo. She was a homemaker, did volunteer work at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Skokie, and was devoted to her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Glow, whom she married 69 years ago on August 31, 1940 in Toledo. Also surviving are son, Judd (Margie) Glow of Cary; daughter, Marcia Glow, of Los Angeles; and grandchildren, Eric and Meghan Glow and Alessandra Toreson.
