Dorothy Mae Heffernan,90, of Barrington, passed away, April 29,2012, at her home.
She was born on June 14,1921, to Peter and Selma Carlson in Elmhurst.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Ron (Susann) Heffernan, Raymond (Joyce) Heffernan, Sharon Duro, Cheryl (Mike) Feit and Charlene (Robert) Moos; grandchildren, Alex (Michelle) Heffernan, Katie Heffernan, Jamie (Orion) Kiesch, Jessica (Bruce) Brunk, Mike (Anna) Feit, Beth (Jeff) Bravieri, Matthew Feit, Neve Moos; great grandchildren, Domenica Kiesch, Michael Feit, Augie Feit, Anthony Bravieri and Katelyn Bravieri.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Herbert; son, Roger Heffernan; brother, Arnold (Catherine) Carlson; sisters, Eleanor (Ed) Gould and Estelle (Donald) Pauley.
Visitation and funeral service will be held from 1-2p.m., Monday, May 7,2012, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street, Barrington, IL 60010
Burial will be held at St. Michaels Cemetery, Palatine, following the service.
