Doyle Edward Green

Doyle Edward Green was born at home in Lancaster, OH on July 29, 1943, and passed away at home in Crystal Lake, IL on July 5, 2024, at the age of 80.

We are saddened with the loss of our dear husband and father. He was a man who could talk to anyone, was well liked by those who knew him, could fix anything, loved gardening, and built beautiful furniture.

Doyle had a smile for everyone and never complained. He was a successful small business owner of Tu-Star Manufacturing Company.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sherry Green (nee Magill); his eldest son, Brian (Margie) Green of Winona, TX; his twins, Phillip Green of Youngsville, NC and Dr. Anne Green (Dan Mohnen) of Crystal Lake, IL., his brothers in law Kenneth (Sandy) Magill and Leonard G Magill. He had five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Hazel Green; brother, Merl Green; sisters, Doris Rossser and Evelyn Yates; his niece, Darlene Hedges; and nephew, Robert Smith.

A memorial visitation for Doyle will be held from 2pm until the time of Eulogies at 4:30pm on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
