Doyle D. Hayt, 83, of Barrington, IL and Naples, FL, was born on August 28, 1933 in Dewey, OK and passed away peacefully on May 17, 2017 in Barrington.
He was a member of the Barrington United Methodist Church and the North Naples United Methodist Church. He loved golf, fishing, a good martini and anything chocolate. On March 6, 1972 he was united in marriage to Velma L. Noe, in Arlington Heights. They celebrated 33 years of marriage until her death in 2005. He married Marjie LaMarre in December of 2008 until her death in 2013.
Doyle is survived by his loving children, Christina (Jim) Gruman of McHenry, Kimberly (Daryl) Schwermer of North Barrington; grandchildren, Mehgan Keeley, Jennifer and Casey Irish, Dustin Johnson, Zachary and Kirsten Schwermer, Misty Gruenes, Aimee Sundberg, Jeff and J.D. Cesarz, and Zack and Alex Gruman; many great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Hayt; many nieces and nephews and by his furry companion, Ellie. He was also preceded in death by daughters, Gail and Debbie, sister, Jane and by his parents.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 21, from 2 PM until 6 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin Road (between 59 and Algonquin Road), Barrington, with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. until the time of the services. He will be buried alongside his wife at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barrington United Methodist Church.
