Dr. William O. Womer, 93
Of Crystal Lake

Born July 14, 1921 in Pottsville, PA, passed away peacefully December 24, 2014 at JourneyCare Hospice in Woodstock.

William was a Doctor of Chiropractic in Chicago for over 40 years. He was an active Mason for many years as well as a member of the American Legion. William also served as a Trustee for National University Health Science in Lombard.

Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Shirley, children; Dr. William R. (Carol) Womer, Barbara (Jerry) Zielinski, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mena Womer, and daughter Deborah Kirwan.

Visitation will be held from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 12pm, Wednesday, December 31 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake. Burial in Windridge Memorial Park will follow the service.
