Eddie Hardgrave

Eddie "Ed" Glyn Hardgrave, 62, of Wonder Lake passed away, Friday, July 6, 2012 at his home.

Ed was born on June 24, 1950 to Girthal and Bobbie Hardgrave, in Bloomfield, Missouri. Ed was a hardworking man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing, and building models. He was a very loving man and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara (nee Erickson); children, Susan (Kenny) Erickson, Laura (John) Franks and Jamie (Chris Colby) Hardgrave; grandchildren, Nicollette, Dominic, Brianna, Logan, Austin, Colton, Masion, Cade, Cassidy and Hunter; great grand-daughter, Giovanna; and a brother, Harold Hardgrave.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 1-4pm, Saturday, July 14 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (IL Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014, with a Memorial Service at 4pm. Burial will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri, privately in the future.
