Edna Knaack

Edna Knaack, 99 years 274 days, of Hearthstone Manor Woodstock, passed away October 7, 2015. She was born in Grant Park, IL on January 6, 1916 to William and Jessie Finer.

On October 16, 1937 she married Gustav Knaack at Tabor Luthern Church in Chicago. They had a wonderful, loving 58 years together before his passing.

Over the years they lived in Mt. Prospect, Barrington, and finally Arlington Heights where they lived at Luther Village.

Edna is survived by her three sons, Frederick, Richard (Sharon), and Robert (Cynthia); seven grandchildren, Deryl Knaack, Kevin (Stacy) Knaack, Curtis (Pamela) Knaack, Galen Knaack, Julie Knaack, Jennifer (Anthony) Benson, and Marci Knaack; and seven great-grandsons.

Edna lived a long, full life. She loved being with her family and friends, travel, and especially for over 85 years, any time she spent at her favorite place, Lake Geneva.

Funeral service for Edna will be Friday, October 16th, at 11:30 am with a visitation starting at 10:30 am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St (Lake Cook Rd), Barrington. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
