Edward Freidrich DeWitz, 91, of Barrington, passed away, March 28, 2013, at home.
He was born on November 21, 1921, to Paul Freidrich and Elizabeth DeWitz in Elgin.
Ed is survived by his sister, Fran Periman; brother, Roy (Barbara) DeWitz; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Harold DeWitz, Paul DeWitz, and Casper DeWitz; step-brother, Edo Folkerts; sisters, Helen Polemarcus, Marjorie Hubbs, and Ladoiska Wright.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:30a.m., Friday, April 5, 2013, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
Burial will be at Memorial Gardens following service.
