Edward Thomas Kason, 87, of Lake Barrington, passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Barrington on Sunday, April 2, 2017. He was born on August 14, 1929 in Chicago to Joseph and Theodosia (nee Bramowski) Kaczanowski.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan (Scott) Russell, and Kristy (Matt) Brezinsky; his grandchildren, Alexis Russell, Jared and Brandon Oenick, and Hailey Brezinsky; and his sister, Elizabeth “Bell” (the late Lenny) Woods.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Kason; his daughter, Karen Oenick; his siblings, Ted, Wanda, Irene, and Harry; and his parents.
A visitation will be held from 3pm until time of funeral service at 8pm, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St., Barrington, IL 60010. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
