Edward M. Reidell

Edward M. Reidell of Cary, IL passed away September 16, 2018 at the age of 71.  He was born in Roswell, NM on August 17, 1947 to Anthony E. and Beatrice M.  (Falb) Reidell.

On June 11, 1966,  Ed married Mary E. Held in Slinger, WI.   Together they raised three children and moved around quite a bit for his job as he was a production manager for zinc and aluminum die-casting in WI, MN, AR, IL, OH, MD, and CT.

You’d most often find Ed with his cars/hotrods or cooking, gardening, golfing or reading.   He was a member of the Northern Illinois Street Rod Association, the Society of Die-Cast Engineers and North American Die-Casting Association.

Survivors include his children, Edward L. (Andrea J.) of Jenkintown, PA, Kristen N. Reidell of Middleton, WI, and Benjamin M. Reidell of Lynnwood, WA; granddaughter, Julianna  Reidell of Jenkintown, PA;  father, Anthony of Howard, SD; and siblings, Anthony  of Sierra Vista, AZ, Ronald of St. Paul, MN, Kathleen  of Minneapolis, MN, William of Sierra Vista, AZ, and Roxane Chapman of Howard, SD.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and his mother, Beatrice.
