Edward F. Roll, Jr.

Edward F. Roll, Jr., 76, of Wauconda, born on July 10, 1943 to Florence and Edward F. Roll, Sr. in Chicago, IL, passed unexpectedly on April 22, 2020. Edward was the loving companion to Doris Weghorn; beloved father of Gina (Joseph) Tenuto, Lisa (Daniel) Mytnik, Michele (Joey Williams) Kasper, Lesley (Robb) Ramirez, and Anthony Roll; adored grandfather of Ashley (Kevin) Supple, Brittany Mytnik, Jason Kasper, Amber Kasper, and Alexis Pawlak; cherished great-grandfather of Aubrey Owens; dear brother of Barbara (Patrick O’Neill) Deck; and cousin, uncle, and lifelong friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judith Ann Fusco. Edward attended St. James Catholic Grammar School, Lane Tech High School, and graduated from the first Prosser High School class. Edward was a journeyman printer for CCH publishing company, finishing his professional career as a TSA supervisor. He was part of a bowling league and loved to shoot pool and go on walleye fishing trips in Canada with friends. He was also an avid White Sox, Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears fan. Edward was a Eucharistic minister, usher, and deacon in his church. He ran company picnics and organized retirement parties for coworkers. Edward was a well-respected true friend and coworker.
