Edwin Joseph Ludtke Jr.

Edwin J. Ludtke of Barrington passed away peacefully at his home March 7, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born July 13, 1936 in Chicago to Edwin and Sophie Ludtke.

Edwin is survived by his wife of 63 years, Kathryn; daughters, Deborah (Mike) Drakert, Elizabeth (Lee) Kochneff, Mary (Kevin) Van, Carolyn Comeau, Felicia (Paul) Jochum, Helen Arnone, and Constance (Rick) Zanardo; 20 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Christopher Zanardo; and sister, Theresa Doherty.

Visitation will be 4-8pm, Thursday, March 10 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Road), Barrington.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am, Friday, March 11 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington.  There will be visitation at the church beginning at 9:30am. Burial will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, Palatine.
