Elias Antonio Ramos-Ortiz

Elias Antonio Ramos-Ortiz, 24, of Crystal Lake, passed away on December 9th, 2020. He was born in Hoffman Estates on January 9th, 1996 to his father, Jose A. Ramos, and his mother, Ebonique N. Ortiz.

Elias graduated from Crystal Lake South High School in 2014. Afterward, he attended vocational college and received his certification in construction.

Elias had many hobbies. He loved to draw, write poems, play video games, listen to music, watch anime and was an avid reader. It wasn’t uncommon for Elias to read a 500-page book in one day. Intelligent, loving, and kind, Elias aspired to help others in need.

He is survived by his mother Ebonique N. Ortiz, sister, Jiselle E. Ramos, half-brother Jose A. Ramos; Grandparents David and Shirley Ortiz, and Jose and Rosalie Ramos; aunts, Josie (Rick) Miranda, and Jamie Ramos; and uncle, Michael Andrychowski. He is further survived by a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and friends. He was especially close to cousins Albert (Tresean) Pearson IV, Michael (CuCu) Andrychowski, LaZerrick Almon, Christian McGee- “The Boys Club”, and of course AsiaBella Andrychowski.

Elias is now reunited with his father, Jose A. Ramos, and his best friend, Travis Forman.

Visitation, Saturday, December 19th, from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
