Elizabeth “Betty” Cherry, 79, of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 4, 2016. She was born on December 19, 1936 in Two Rivers, WI to Clifford and Evelyn (nee Jacquette) Lesperance.
Betty loved her family and will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Hugh Cherry; children, Todd (Catherine) Cherry, Leona (Angelo) Rubino; grandchildren, Amanda (Craig) Flick, Nathan, Noah, Lucas and Emma Cherry, Anthony, Mickey, and Dominic Rubino; great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Aaron Flick; nieces and nephews, Brenda, Barbara, Bonnie and Brian. Many loving friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold (Beverly) and Richard and by her parents.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 1pm until the 3:30om celebration of life service at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment will be private.
