Elizabeth B. Luzwick Of Barrington The Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth B. Luzwick (nee Aussenhofer), 85, will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 21, at St. Anne Church, Barrington, where she will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Father Bernhard H. Bauerle, a dear family friend, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m., Sunday, September 20 at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Born October 8, 1923, in Wuerzburg, Germany, she passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights. Mrs. Luzwick worked in various secretarial roles at Barrington High School for over 20 years (culminating in being Secretary to the Principal), as well as being in charge of the International Exchange Student Program. She was a longtime member of St. Anne Church, the church choir, and many other activities and groups at the church. Mrs. Luzwick had a passion for animals and their welfare. Survivors include her son, Perry (Susan) Luzwick, of Leesburg, VA; and grandchildren, Jennifer Luzwick of Annapolis, MD and Jeffrey Luzwick of Leesburg, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents, Georg and Regina Aussenhofer; and sister, Sieglinde Mueller. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mrs. Luzwick?s name may be made to the Society of the Little Flower, 1313 Frontage Rd., Darien, IL 60561or to St. Anne Church, 120 N. Ela St., Barrington, IL 60010.
