The visitation for Elizabeth Betty Wagner (nee Schmalzl),94, will be from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 1, at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela St. (at the corner of Franklin St.), Barrington.Entombment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum, Palatine.Born October 15,1916, in Chicago, she passed away Sunday, September 25,2011, at Addolorata Villa, Wheeling.Mrs. Wagner was a secretary and worked for the Fair Store in Chicago, United Airlines and Barrington Middle School.She enjoyed needlework, playing bridge and the violin, and was an active member of St. Anne Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council 3954 of Barrington.Survivors include her children, Robert Jr. (Marguerite) of Cary and Mary Elizabeth Barton of Northglenn, CO; grandchildren, Robert (Andrea) Wagner III of West Chicago, Robin Wagner of Grayslake, and Jami Robertson of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Gage and Ryan Duzak, and Mary Rose Wagner; sister, Margaret Funk of Oak Lawn; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bob Wagner; parents, Gustav and Elizabeth (nee Klopschek); and sister, Anna Stacy.Please omit flowers.
