Elizabeth "Beth" Lynne Ramsdale Diller

Elizabeth Lynne “Beth” Ramsdale Diller, of Fox River Grove, passed away peacefully after a long but brave battle with cancer on May 27, 2019 at the age of 57. She was born on September 26, 1961 in Norfolk, VA to Joseph and Lynne (nee Lommen) Ramsdale.

She was a retired elementary school teacher having most recently taught Kindergarten at Algonquin Road School in Fox River Grove. She loved every child and treated them as her own.

Beth was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority at the University of Wyoming and an active member of  Chapter NO of PEO. She enjoyed golfing with her GiGi friends, and was an avid reader that loved a good mystery.

She was a loving wife and mother, a caring daughter, an inspirational sister, and a devoted friend.  She fought her battle with eternal optimism and without complaint.  The word impossible was not in her dictionary.  She was kind and provided a good example for us to follow.

Beth will be joyfully remembered by her husband, Mark; son, Nicholas Diller; father Joseph (Mary Jo) Ramsdale; siblings, Michael Ramsdale, David (Kelli) Ramsdale, Kathryn (Brian) Ramsdale Kennedy, and Grandpuppy Jude Elizabeth.

Beth was preceded in death by her mother, Lynne Ramsdale.

A celebration of Beth’s life will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Cary Country Club, 2400 Grove Lane, Cary, Illinois. Beth will be laid to rest in Denver, Colorado in a private burial service this summer.
