Elizabeth "Libby" (Losch) Louiseau

Elizabeth “Libby” Louiseau was born March 1, 1946 to Henry and Elizabeth Losch.  She passed away peacefully May 7, 2021 in Barrington.

Libby was a graduate of Illinois State University and taught orchestra in Palatine District 15 for over 35 years.  She retired in 2004 and continued her passion of music, playing the violin, viola, and string bass.  Libby was also a horse lover; warm hearted, witty, loving, and sometimes cynical.

Libby is survived by her husband of 46 years, Stan; step children, Salli Wright and Sonni Wong; grandchildren, Lewie (Anna), Sara, Brooke, Joe (Vanessa), Mitch, and Chris; great grandchildren, Jonah, Kaden, Asher, Alyssa, Taylor, Drew, and Dylan; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 11am, Monday, May 17th at the Presbyterian Church of Barrington, 6 Brinker Road, Barrington with a reception following at the church.  Inurnment will be private in Wheaton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Barrington.
