Elna A. Hamilton

Elna A. Hamilton, 71, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024. She was born on November 6, 1952, at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, to Mary Elizabeth Phelan and Harry Wagoner.

Elna grew up in Evanston, Illinois, and graduated from Evanston Township High School in 1970. She spent much of her life in Illinois and California, eventually settling in Woodstock. Elna had a deep love for the water and enjoyed tending to her plants, finding joy and peace in nurturing life around her.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Salazar, Stephanie (John) Preston, and Paul Drake (Elizabeth Adams); her grandson, Aiedyn Woods; and her brothers, David Svendsen (Elaine) and John Svendsen; and a nephew, Ryan Svendsen.
