Emma June Stutesman (nee Hill), 78, of Crystal Lake, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Woodstock Hospice Home in Woodstock.
Mrs. Stutesman was born June 1, 1934 in Kansas, Illinois to the late William and Flora (nee Guyer) Hill. She married Don Stutesman on July 14, 1962 in Rockford.
In addition to her husband, Don, survivors include her children, Rick (Cassi) Stutesman of Crystal Lake and Lori Stutesman of Woodstock; siblings, Ron Hill of Harvard and Lorie (Ron) Montanye of Geneva; “adopted” granddaughters, Faith, Megan, and Hailey Kahovec of Crystal Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Parker, Betty Doolittle, and Linda Hill.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, December 21 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake, where there will also be visitation from 3-9 p.m.
On Saturday, December 22, family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. and go in procession to McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock for the 10 a.m. committal service and burial.
