Erin Leigh Semerad, 39, of Schaumburg, was born October 2, 1976 in Youngstown, OH to Donald William Ryals and Nancy Louise (nee Doland) Bonitzer. Erin passed away suddenly on Monday, October 26, 2015 in Schaumburg.
Erin was a natural caregiver. She was always helpful and kind; especially to her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Paul Semerad; her mother, Nancy Louise (Albert) Bonitzer; her father, Donald William Ryals; her sister, Jessica (Thomas) Gapinski; her brother, Scott David Ryals; her uncles, Thomas (Maryann) Doland and David Doland; and her nieces and nephews, Evan Emanuel, Peyton Lea and Ella Rianne Semerad.
Visitation will be held from 4pm until 8pm, Thursday, October 29, 2015 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave., Barrington where funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, October 30, 2015. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations have been requested to the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation in memory of Erin.
