Ernest Peter Faith, DDS

Ernest was born June 25, 1935 in Chicago.  He passed away  December 6, 2018 at his home.

Ernest was a graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1960 and practiced Dentistry for 40 years before his retirement in 2000.  He served two years in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corp following school.

Ernest had a passion for investing and enjoyed softball, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary; children, Roberta (Dale) Kisten, Peter (Helena) Faith, and Matthew (Carol) Faith; grandchildren, Rachael and Alexandra Kisten; Sam, Patrick, and Julia Faith; and Charlie, Catelin, and Madison Faith; and brother, Dennis (Judy) Faith.  Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest S. and Lillian Faith; and brothers, Ronald (Nancy) and Douglas (the late Louise).

Visitation will be 3-8pm Tuesday, December 11 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Road), Barrington.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Wednesday, December 12 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Stree, Barrington.  There will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to mass.  Burial will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
