Eugene N. Glaister

Eugene N. Glaister, 72, of Crystal Lake, was born February 23, 1945 in Chicago to Samuel and Alice (nee Cleary) Glaister. He passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 in Woodstock.
Gene retired from United Airlines and went to work for District 158 in Huntley as a school bus driver. He enjoyed gardening, cleaning his car, and caring for his beloved dog, Sadie. Gene was known for his sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (nee Rinker) Glaister; his children, Nicholas Glaister, John Glaister, Laura Komes, and Michael Kaasbell; his beloved grandchildren, Kelly Komes, Marlene, Marissa, Nicholas, Brayden, Alyssa, Maria, Tae, Jada, and Mary; his great granddaughter, Gianna; and his sister, Sr. Dorothy Glaister.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Glaister; and his parents.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11am, Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 1023 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake,IL 60014. A luncheon will follow.
