Eugene R. Konopotski, 59, of Crystal Lake was born March 3, 1956 in Chicago and passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 in Woodstock.
Gene was a kind, generous man who loved fishing and time spent with family and friends.
Gene is survived by his wife Barbara Just; children, Stephen (Jessica) Konopotski, Stacey Konopotski, and Erika (Teddy) Moore; grandchildren, Sheyenne, Kaden, Alexi, and Ethan; and sisters, Joann Shea, Helen (Gary) Roberts, and Cheryl (Donald) Hebert. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Konopotski and his mother, Louise Kotrba.
Memorial visitation will be held from 3pm until the memorial service at 7pm, Wednesday, November 4 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to JourneyCare Foundation, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington IL 60010.
