Evelyn Casper

Evelyn M. Casper, 96, of Crystal Lake, IL was born on April 18, 1920 in Waukegan to George and Mary Alice (nee Lange) Doyle. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in Woodstock, IL.

Evelyn was a vibrant, energetic person, who enjoyed being involved in many activities. She was a member of the Englewood, FL garden club. She also was a volunteer at the American Cancer Association in Tampa, FL. Evelyn enjoyed entertaining, and being with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Brown, Barbara Bisig, and Janice (David) Minorini; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Rebecca Bond) Brown, Ali (Rob Pugh) Brown, Adam Bisig, Elissa (Brennan) Buckley, Brynne (Tom) Burda, Cory (John) Vlahos, Jana (Jay) Boggs, and Tyler Minorini; her great-grandchildren, Daniel Bond-Brown, Zachary Bond-Brown and Evelyn Pugh; and her sister, Eileen Pederson.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen (Fred) Losch and Florence Doyle; her brother-in-law, Robert Pederson; and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 11am until time of funeral service at 11:30am, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
