Ewald "Ed" Sieg

Ewald 'Ed' Sieg passed away on Sunday December 13, 2020, at the age of 85.

Ed lived a life full of activities and adventures with his friends and family. His favorite memories were of ski events and trips with the CMSC, dancing every weekend, his annual visit to his family in Germany and playing tennis whenever possible.

He thoroughly enjoyed working, retiring on his 80th birthday. He proudly shared of his contributions to research and inventions at Weber Grill, Shure Brothers and Sunbeam. Ed served in the US Armed Forces for 5 years, and told of his 17 jumps, all of them with successful landings.

The past few years, Ed lived in a wonderful Long Term Care Community, as his health and independence declined from Dementia. Unfortunately COVID-19 found its' way into the community, and into Ed's body. He died 17 days after contracting COVID-19.
