Fau Sang Ko, 79, of Inverness, passed away on October 12, 2021 with his loving wife and daughter by his side.

He was born in Qingdao, China on April 24, 1942. He was the oldest of the seven siblings. Born to an esteemed family taught him the value of honor, hardworking, and loyalty to his family.  After graduating from college, Fau Sang became an architect for Industrial buildings.

Fau Sang married Pun Wah Ng and together they moved from China to Hong Kong before settling in the United States. After China opened the market to the foreign world in the late 70s, he followed the opportunity and started his own import and export business of industrial machineries in Hong Kong, importing European machineries to China. He started his marble and granite processing facilities in Park Forest, IL in the 90s. He retired shortly after illness. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and big brother to his siblings. He is dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 47 years, Pun Wah Ko Ng; his loving daughter, Christina (Cheng Cui) Ko; cherished grandchildren, Katelyn Cui and Ethan Cui; brothers, Ko Daqiang, Ko Dadong, and Ko Dakang; sisters, Ko Meijuan, Ko Guomei, and Ko Xiamei.

A visitation will be on Thursday, October 21st, from 1pm until 5pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St., Barrington.
