Felicitas Buena M.D.

Born June 28, 1952 in Baguio, Philippines, passed away Friday, April 19 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Felicitas was the beloved wife for 35 years of Nardo Buena, loving mother of Karen Jillienne Buena, of New Orleans, LA, and dear sister of twelve siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents Perfecto and Aniceta (nee Panis) Lim.

Felicitas earned her medical degree in the Philippines. She was a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, a member of the medical staff at Advocate Condell Medical Center, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Visitation and Mass will be held Tuesday, April 23 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 135 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, with visitation beginning at 9am until the time of the mass at 10:30am. Interment will be private.
