Fern (Kass) Ostrowsky

Fern E. Ostrowsky passed away peacefully February 6, 2023 in Vernon Hills. She was born July 22, 1938 in Chicago to Jacob and Evelyn Kass.

Fern is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Ostrowsky and Sheryl (Charles) Cresswell; grandchildren, Benjamin and Leah Cresswell; brother, Murray (Anita) Kass; and daughter in law, Jane Goodman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Ostrowsky; and her son, Montgomery Goodman.  Burial will be at 11am, Thursday February 9 at McHenry County Jewish Cemetery in Woodstock, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

**McHenry County Jewish Cemetery is located within the grounds of Oakland Cemetery in Woodstock on Kishwaukee Valley Road.  From Route 14 (Northwest Hwy) take Kishwaukee Valley Road East for 1/4 mile and veer left after Borden St.  The cemetery entrance will be on your left- or, stay on Kishwaukee Valley Road and it will merge with Jackson St., the entrance to Oakland Cemetery will be 1/4 mile on your left.  The McHenry County Jewish Cemetery is in the North/Western most section of the cemetery.

**Please be advised that the roadway at the cemetery is not paved and will be soft due to the melting ice/snow**
