Florence was born June 1, 1918 at home in Brooklyn, NY to Walter and Ceclia Plotz. She passed away peacefully September 15, 2016 in Barrington.
Florence is survived by her children; Daniel (Candi) Tepke, and Janice (Fritz) Gohl; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Dunn and Julie (Mark) Gurgone; step grandchildren; Scott Gohl, and Muffy Oyler; and great grandchildren, Madelyn, Kristyn, and Alayna Dunn, Lauren Gurgone; Lexis, Hannah, and Jake Gohl, and Arbor Oyler. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Tepke; her second husband, Alexander Houston; and her parents.
Memorial visitation will be held from 10am until the time of the memorial service at 11am, Saturday, October 8 at Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin Road, Barrington. A reception at the church will follow the service. Inurnment will be private.
