Frances Hager

Frances M. Hager, 92, of Barrington passed away peacefully on September 5, 2016. She was born on May 5, 1924 in Barrington. Frances was a very active member of Salem United Methodist Church and The J.O.Y. Class. She also enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, George; children, Georgann (Terrence) McNamara, Thomas (Sherry) Hager, Jill (John) Talbot; grandchildren, Mike, Kevin and Andrew McNamara, Ehren and Anna Hager, and J. P. and Megan Talbot.She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Anna Plagge; sister, Esther Brewer; and brothers, Harold and Vernon Plagge.
Visitation will be 4-8pm, Friday, September 9 at Salem United Methodist Church, 115 W. Lincoln Ave., Barrington. The funeral service will be at 11am Saturday, September 10 at the church, where the family will be receiving friends from 10 am until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem United Methodist Church.
