Frances Pruyn

The memorial service and inurnment for Mrs. Frances A. Pruyn (nee Gorski), 93, of Wheeling, will be at a later date.

Born August 21, 1920, in Chicago to the late Thomas and Gertrude (nee Rudnik) Gorski, she died August 16, 2014.

Mrs. Pruyn was a longtime member St. Alphonsus Church in Prospect Heights and held many offices in the Norwood Park Amvets.

Survivors include her daughters, Carol Suchomski, Betty (Steven) Mertel, Karen (Barry) Wilson, Donna (Kim) Haugen, and Linda (Don) Young; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Pruyn was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Frederick; son-in-law, George Suchomski; great-grandson, Jason Kempiak; and by many brothers and sisters.
