Frances (Fran) Schultz, 85, of Cary passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015. She was born June 14, 1930 to Joseph and Ann Pusateri in Chicago.
Fran attended St. Nicholas Ukrainian School and graduated from Wells High School in 1948. On May 13, 1950 she married Jack Schultz in Chicago. They were married 27 years before his passing in 1978.
She was a long time parishioner at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She loved baking with her grandchildren, gardening, music, and time with her family. Fran enjoyed her 21 years at NIMC both as a nurses aide and in housekeeping. Following her retirement at age 75, she continued at NIMC as a volunteer.
Fran is survived by her children, Tom (Sue), Dan (Susan), Diane, Carol, and Bill (Mary Catherine); grandchildren, Scott (Brooke), Kelly, Kasey (Eric Saindon) Schultz-Saindon, Catie, Jack, and Sarah; great granddaughter, Vivienne; brother, Ralph (Pat) Pusateri; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Joey and Georgie; sisters, Mary Ann (Richard) Lee and Betty (Joe) Rybak; and cousin, Bernice (Ray) Pradzinski.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 11th from 3 pm until 8 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rte 176), Crystal Lake. Funeral mass will be at 11 am on Monday, the 12th, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. There will be a visitation at the funeral home at 10 am with a procession to the church for mass for those that wish to join.
Burial will be held privately at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Cemetery, Chicago.
