Fred Geis
July 18, 1964 — December 15, 2015
Fred J. Geis, 51, of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 15, 2015. He was born on July 18, 1964 in Chicago to Fred and Agnes (nee Maguire) Geis.
Fred was an avid Chicago White Sox fan, loved spending time with his family and enjoyed nature. Fred worked as a supervisor for Follett School Solutions, Inc. for many years.
Fred will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 24 ½ years, Darlene (nee Mercure) with whom he was united in marriage on April 6, 1991; his children, Michael, Heather, and Steven; siblings, Kathy (Bob) Bellavia, Charlie (Deb) Geis, Margaret Geis, Debbie (Jerry) Elliot. Fred is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Agnes Geis; and his sisters, Donna and Alma.
Visitation will be Friday, December 18, 2015 from 3 PM until 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
