Gary H. Schuberth

Gary H. Schuberth, D.D.S., passed away January 25, 2021 at his home in Barrington. He was born November 30, 1956 in Chicago to Henry and Jean Schuberth.

Gary is survived by his wife of nearly 39 years, Colleen; children, Dana Schuberth, Melissa (Bert) Quinn, and Nicholas (Caitlyn) Schuberth; mother, Jean Schuberth; brothers, Richard (Susan), Ronald (Kathy), and David (Carol) Schuberth; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry.

Gary graduated from Emory University in 1989 with a Specialty Degree in Orthodontics. He founded Schuberth Orthodontics in Barrington, Illinois, where he practiced for over 30 years. Gary was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and golfer. He enjoyed adventuring and spending time at his parents' cabin in the Smoky Mountains, with his family on Kauai, and fishing in Lac Seul, Ontario.

Visitation will be 1-5pm Sunday, January 31 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake Cook Road), Barrington. Services will be held immediately thereafter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Park Foundation.
